In response to the increase in manuscripts being submitted to the Journal, Elsevier is seeking applications for an Associate Editor for the Oral Medicine section effective immediately. Responsibilities will include receiving and reviewing manuscripts, assigning the review of manuscripts, assisting the Editor of the Oral Medicine section in these duties and attending the annual board meeting. Applicants must be members of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, and have published in the field of Oral Medicine. Prior editorial experience is not required. The preferred candidate should have advanced training in Oral Medicine and diplomate status within the Academy. Salary is to be determined by publisher, Elsevier. Oral Pathologist – Academic Faculty
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Temple University announces the search for an Oral Pathologist who is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will have demonstrated expertise in surgical oral pathology. An interest in research and scholarly activity is a plus along with a strong interest in teaching dental and medical residents and pre-doctoral dental students. This is an opportunity to join one of the larger oral pathology practices in the country. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include didactic teaching in Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine, and Therapeutics for the predoctoral program, with some teaching responsibilities for residents in the AEGD program and clinical instruction in clinical diagnosis, oral medicine, and dental emergencies. Service to the University is required. For tenure track appointments independent research and scholarly activity is also expected. Collaboration with other faculty, both in research and teaching, is expected. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree and be eligible for licensure in compliance with the Illinois Dental Practice Act.
